eye peice cover

I was watching a video on long exposure photography and they guy in the video has an eye peice with a door that slides to block out any ambient light. Has anyone seen this for a Nikon? I think he was using a Canon.

Only top-end Nikon bodies have a viewfinder shutter. The rest come with a little plastic cover (Nikon No. DK-5) you slide onto the viewfinder.

D850 has one, otherwise you can use the above, or simply a black cloth over the back, it does indeed help light leaks in long expo.

No .
