Killer camera?

Not long ago I saw a video online title was "Is the Nikon ZF an XT-5 killer?" Some like Chevy's some like Ford's. I have been a Nikon
shooter since 1965 using a third hand F. Fuji since an X Pto-3 and now an XT-5. I own both brands: they are very different in the every way
each makes a great image. CMOS sensor or full frame? Dual {full size} slots or one slot and a Micro card? Menu's are different but
dedicated to bring out the best.
So, what do you think--hopefully you will have experienced both.______I can hear the shouting now!! Without a doubt I'll get the
question a hundred times:: "Your choice of which is best?"

Seems a working definition of eternity these brand/model cage matches. Not that you're doing it but I find 'em tiresome and pointless elsewhere. I too ended a long affair with Nikon with a D7200 and a bag of G primes and a trove of old MF Nikkors. Fuji just seemed to embody what a MILC platform should be--legacy SLR ergonomics with digital ease. That was the X-T1 in 2014 when Nikon was still putting a sensor where the film once was. The X-Pro and X100 series still stand apart. No problem with Fujinon optics. I'm sensing a development plateau for most makers. Sure the Nikon+Red marriage is interesting for video. The current trade inanities are a drag on innovation.

I keep searching for an under-used XPro 2--in vain...Another Fuji plus is their CRM in Canada at least. A friend bought one of first XPro 1 sold in Canada in 2012. Got a signed letter from the head of Fujifilm Canada along with a free lifetime service/repair card. I've always found them wonderful for support. Nikon Canada once was, too, but dropped the ball a decade ago--and never recovered.

the whole camera industry is crap for consumers. so many models per brand. so confusing. whatever you choose always a trade off. never a straight upgrade. add the obsession with proprietary mounts. there is no killer camera. as they say: date the body marry the lens.

Camera industry is destroying itself. Some day someone is gonna come along with a camera you don't need three doctor's degrees in camera science just to take a picture! Even the pro's are doing nothing other than taking a picture!

OK, I've made my choice for which camera is the one I'll carry most. XT-5 or ZF. It was close, actually made a "pro's and con's" list for both. It was close. My choice? XT-5. Now, my favorite, my go to and what I enjoy the most::::: not even in comparison test:::: Fujifilm Xpro-3.
