Yeah Derrel when I saw his pic I knew it wasn't just the eyecup. Since I don't have a round eyepie e camera I'm unaware of the pieces

then you may want to have an eyecup for it, such as the ones I mentioned

mine always slips off my D600 because of the way I overstuff my backpack.

I used to have that problem until I got the eyecup that I have now. It locks into place and doesn't come off unless you unclip it.

I also found out that I'm hitting the diopter adjustment. That answers why my eyes go whacko on the camera from time to time. This has happened alot just pulling the camera out of the bag, I rotate the diopter adjustment lol
