Face portrait with digital make up


I think it's a great idea to correct skin tone but I could not get it to work. Do you use it in your work often ?
I use CMYK ratios to check my skin tones. Normally I'll pick a few places (highlight value/local value/shadow value) and place a color sampler mark on them. I'll set the reading to CMYK (the default is RGB). If everything looks good I leave it alone, if things are off I'll convert to CMYK (after all other editing is done) and adjust using CMYK curves. Once you get used to it it's quite fast and easy. I'm sure it can be done on RGB curves as well, but I learned the technique and ratios with CMYK so I just stick with it.
