In the US, the photographer owns the copyrights to the image as soon as it is recorded in a tangible medium like a memory card, watermarked or not.

IMO, both photo's needed supplimental lighting for the eye sockets and good separation from the backgrounds.

I would smooth out the skin, bump the saturation up a little, tighter crop, and a few more tweaks. Same for the second one. Here's an example:

I just know that Facebook steals pictures, my friend took a stunning picture of her boyfriend and he died in a terrible accident and facebook sold her picture to the newspapers.

She looks gorgeous in black and white by the way!

the thing is i do know abt the rule of thirds but i was so hellbent on getting the poses, orientations right that i completely forgot about basics this happens a lot to me i get so impulsive if i see something that'll make a good photo and then jus start snapping without giving much thought

I get the same way as well. hard sometimes to slow yourself down and think things thru once you get going sometimes.

Too soft of a focus on the face. For someone this exotic looking, an crisp focus on the eyes would be KILLER

I agree with you, thats why I thought maybe B&W would be more flattering and allow her eyes to be brilliant.

i know right in real life she has a hazel colored eyes that are just soo beautiful but the thing is im running on MF cuz of d40 and manual focus is a bi*** in low light sorry if i seem like complaining a lot
