I definately like the reshoot better in terms of the composition of the shot. I still think it would look better high contrast though. I did a quick tweak ( this is a fast hack job and is far from perfect but just want to illustrate the look I thought would work well given the subject matter. )

Thanks Goon - I'm going to see what this one prints up like. I usually like the HC monochrome look, but I'm not sure it's going to be the look I want in this case... I'll give it a whirl though...

Ya' think? I deliberately included that to give it a greater appearance of depth in the image. I'll try that and see what it looks like.
