Is it possible to fake an ultra wide angle lens and have it look realistic compared to the real thing?
I know my landscape work would benefit from a wider lens than the kit 18-55mm, but the lens I will most likely end up buying is not cheap (Canon EF-S 10-22mm) and it may be a while before I can justify the expense.
So I have been thinking maybe there is a way to fake the ultra wide angle effect by stitching shots together, but I am leaning towards the "it wont work well at all, if at all" side of the fence.
Any insight?
