Ooo, nicely shot! How close were you? I too prefer the second shot - good eye contact, positioning, and alert expression
i actually was not far at all, was only like 10 feet away, i was siitting in the car waiting for a friend and he landed in the tree a few feet away, luckily i had my D300 in the back seat ready to go. right place at the right time, u never know when a shot will come along.
