Havent posted in a long time trying to find my own style and learning sooo many things. I am improving thats for sure I can see it when I look at old photos this was taken with a rebel T3 w/ 18-55 mm.
Let me know what you think my monitor is not calb. yet so my colour could be way off and I am not to sure about my edit I feel like I made the eyes a bit soft but other than that I love the photo.

You are right, eyes are too soft. That and the fact that the leaf cuts into the left eye makes the leaf the center of attention. Pull the leaf back against her face and make sure you don't cut the eyes. It should also help keep similar tones and saturation between her skin and the leaf.

Thank you for the tips!!!!! I wish the leaf had been a bit more away and not in the eye as well but my daughter refuses to pose for me I actually got this while she was trying to hide her face. I am gonna try and re edit it now that I look at the eyes again today they are way to soft driving me crazy actually!!!!

Hmmm looks more like out of focus than just soft eyes.

Yeah it is a bit out of focus I think my focus point hit the leave instead of the eye grrrrrrr I find I miss alot of shots playing around with the settings trying to get them right annnnd then just when I get them right kids they move to a completely different area lol and I start all over again lol.

Not missed focus, just out of focus. None of the leaf is in focus either. Familiar with back button focus? Google it and try it out!
