Fall Landscapes, T2i - first time using.

Let me start with some backstory. My wife was driving my truck, I was sitting in the passanger seat. I am using the kit lens. I am taking them through the windshield of the truck. Some of them we are moving. At the time of the photos I'd only been taking pictures for about 1.5 months. No editing (aka PP I think) was done.

That first one came out pretty cool in my opinion. I like it. Looks like the tractor is bookin it, lol. The farmhouse in the back adds visual interest as well. I think the third picture is cropped too tightly/shot too closely.
Good job, though...keep it up.

Hard to compose and think of your shot at 60mph but at least you got some ****s off.

I like the last one because when I see it, I start imagining this whole story in my head! lol...(maybe cuz I'm a little psycho :lmao

You also have an amazingly clean truck to be able to get those shots out of the window...if I did that, there would be dirt/and bird **** all over the shots and people might think they were Orbs "spirits" ... but thats what you get when you hang in a wildlife refuge..no sense cleaning it right? lol

Although I like those landscapes, I do not see much detail.
Almost all need some postprocessing work to increase contrast (they are "greyish"; not exploiting al b/w possibilities).
Some (1,4) seem slightly blurred (movement, or not perfectly focused).
Anyway, good first exercises .

@nikonnewbie - actually my thoughts too....that's why I wanted to capture it. And that smudge mark in the bottom left corner is on the windshield...LOL. And I have some with the sun shining in and you can see two suns because of a dirty spot.

@enzodm - I wanted 1 to look that way so the tractor looked like it was in motion but I see your meaning. 4 is blurred slightly, but it was hard to know where to focus and I wanted to get the pic before we moved to far past the combine.

Probably because I use a lot of psycho babble...it confuses the enemy...and sometimes even myself...

Well dont go getting a big head or anything...know what story I was imaging? someone got napped (kid or adult) and that is the hideout...explains the dirt flying...the dark looking building...kinda reminds me of Devils rejects a little... which I think is cool :mrgreen:
