Why not? Seems like a nicely captured, tranquil forest scene. I find it quite appealing.

I agree with you. It's a nice scene, but it's not easy on the eyes if that makes any sense. The dappled sunlight creates a busy, contrasty background. The light was still a bit harsh at 3:15.
I imagine you shot at f/22 to slow the water down a bit, but I think you would be better served with a ND filter at f/11 - though I imagine you know that.
My only other suggestion would be to shoot from a higher vantage point, but if there was none then you did the best you could.

Thanks. I did have a CPL on for this one but I don't have a ND for my UWA. I see you point about it being busy. Sadly no high vantage point.

I like it, maybe if you had adjusted the shadows to be a little brighter it would have been a little "easier on the eyes".

I would bump up the brightness just a touch.

Looks really nice to me too - but like napalm i would increase the brightness just a touch and then the shadows may not look so busy.

I agree with many of the above posts...it's a nice composition, but it is a little hard on the eyes. #2 is better for me- looks more natural.
