Fan Ho. The great master in Hong Kong

They showed some very beautiful examples of his work in the guardian

I’ve seen it before and love it. It’s what I think of when someone mentions street photography. Now it seems street photography is just a quick snapshot of some random persons face with no thought of composition or lighting.

I adore it. This is my kind of photography - he shows a great eye for line and geometric shapes, composition, capturing emotion, and his exposures are beautiful. A couple of them did come across as staged, but who cares? ;) Excellent work.

That much Light/Shadow is no accident.
Many of his frames required a lot of Note taking, Patience, Planning, and Clock watching :)
