what are your favorite image hosting sites and why?

I find www.xs.to very convenient and easy to use for posting images to the forum. It's quick and painless. Definitely not someplace to keep a gallery or anything, but to throw a picture on the forum it's extremely convenient.

It's not so much a hosting site as it is a critique site. Don't go if you have thin skin -- the whole purpose of the site is to get in-depth, honest critique.

All the stuff I have on Flickr is private, so Getty probably won't be able to see it anyway.
