Changed the website look a bit. It was black before. But thought that was a little too dark to be honest. (below is what it looked like before) but now I think it's much more eye friendly with bright colors.

What do you think?

This is before:

I suspect I'll be in the minority but I preferred the original simply because I've always thought brighter colours in the 'site design distract the eye from the photographs.

I like it with the white...

However, I hate clicking... so having to click next every time I want to move to see the next picture is rather annoying to me :/ lol

A tiny nitpick... You need more padding below the slideshow to match up with the grey space above the slideshow.

padding-bottom: 30px; on #slideshow should do it.

They are still there, the one he showed was the wedding gallery.

Mo I think the dark background is more apprealing as well. Like the before.

This is how it immediately appears on my 17" screen.

I expect a website to be centered when it opens.

That will be IE7 for you.. Get a better browser.

that's odd VTF because it doesn't look like that at all on any of our 15 or 17 inch monitors here at work, nor on my iphone nor at my 24, 26 and 27 " monitors at home

Don't know MO. I went directly to your website (not though link) and it still did that. I went full screen and it just adjusted the size larger but same result. I'm checking the tools to see if its in my internet options. Do you have it set to adapt to monitor dimensions? I had to do that for my website.

yup because the 15" monitor we have isn't 16:9. It's old school 4:3 monitor and the rest are all 16:9 monitors

If you add this css it may help a little.

#header { overflow:auto; }
#header a.logo_link { float:left; }

and add the class 'logo_link' to the first <a> tag.

Although tbh that's not really the best way to do it, the <a> should be in a <div> called logo you should have the logo set as a background image on the <a>
