Fence and Feild c&c please

so Im really into taking long exposures but not that much of landscapes. so if anyone could give me a couple tips on shooting landscapes that would be great! thanks

I don't have much experience in long exposures, but I do enjoy this picture, the colors are great.

 

That is really cool. I like the light painting in the foreground. What was around for ambient light?

 

thanks to both of you. there was some street lights but what really lit it up was some cars going by.

 

Would be kind of neat to have someone in the trees with a flashlight to light them up a little for subtle detail.

For this shot, the posts are a little too high for me and the ground below them really doesn't add anything to the overall photo. Perhaps a different angle (if possible) where the fence drew me into the scene.
