I was playing around in the camera and had switched it to 16:9 but this time in Photoshop I used a 4:5 crop. I really need to start paying attention. I throw away alot of pixels.

Very nice images, I think the #2 shot would of been better if the young lady had been sitting down against the wall though.

You took on not only red, but shiny red, and beat the saturation beast! Red's have always been a PITA for me to get a a rich color without over saturating. Both competent photos, well executed. The only minor issue I have is in #1, her hand/thumb is on the very edge. If you were to print this and frame it, you'd lose most of the thumb/fingers, from the 1/4" lip on the frame.

I don't think these flatter her. You might try some other poses, maybe head shots, where she is looking to the side or something and not looking straight at the camera and grinning. I think your image of her in "Lexi2" was much more flattering to her figure than these.

Ehhh... I get the feeling that this is who she is, and that the images capture her personality. These are "senior pictures", a, as far as I can tell, uniquely American thing, and goal, at least as I understand it, is at least as much, if not more so, documentary vice traditional portraiture.
