Finally! Yes!! ( 5 pics )

[Dean_Gretsch]

I have been traveling out to Amish country often over the last couple years, hoping to get a pheasant rooster shot. Usually I get some pleasant farm/landscape photos and miss shooting the pheasants totally. I changed tactics this morning and went to a lake for some autumn foliage.

Wow, congrats! Good shots.

Been watching all summer too. Bunch of hens. Only see the roosters when they run across the road in front of my truck. Lot of good that does me. Lol.

It looks like it was worth the wait Dean! Some great shots of that micro turkey.

Thank you, Ray. I intended on going out to the Amish area again, but sometimes listening to that little voice pays off for me. Don't give up!

Thanks, Jeff. It was well worth it for me, but don't know about for you guys. Weather wasn't cooperating for me. It was very foggy on top of the mountain where this lake is. Of course, as soon as I descended and went home, the sun popped out

Great set.

[Dean_Gretsch]

Thank you, sir. Will trade you 2 pheasants for one snowy

LMAO. I'll see if I can scare one your way this season.

Nice one. Wish we had some close for Sadie Mae.

[Dean_Gretsch]

Thanks. Daisy was sitting in the backseat watching me follow this one across a parking lot. I could hear her whining, wanting some of the action, lol.

Great stuff! I particularly like the 3rd.

[Dean_Gretsch]

Thank you, Sir! He was very apprehensive about leaving his cover and kept popping his head up to look around and see where I was.
