I made a fire with my friends and here are a couple of the shots that I took for the fun of it. Feedback is welcome and appreciated.

If I were to choose between the two, the second one is more appealing. Take a step back next time and get the top tips of the flame in your frame, you clipped them off

I never shot fire so I have no suggestions.

It just looks like fire to me. I didn't know how to c&c b/c I have zero exp in photoing fire.

I have no experience in fire either, this was my first attempt. I tried to get the whole fire in the shot, however, it made the logs dissappear and I did not like that. Sorry for the impatience... I didn't mean it.

I liked most the second. But, I think that the fire need to have some background... like woods or whatever...
my first (and only) photo with fire whas this one, where I took making a pizza. But, it was taken with a Point-shot camera:
