Fireworks

Is there a website or something were I can get info about shooting fireworks? I want to take as many as possible when new year comes, I know it's a while till but I want to be ready for it.

I've found a good starting place for camera settings is: F8, 1.5 seconds exposure and focus at infinity.

Some tips I use:
1. White balance to tungston or use a tungston film.
2. 1.5-2 seconds exposure.
3. Zoom to the area where the burst will occure, you will have more light.
4. During the grand finale, go to 1 sec and reduce the apturture by half.
5. When you get bored, zoom, tilt, pan up and down during the exposure.

Ditto with that.

Make sure you have a tripod and snap away.

Wow dwain some of those are simply increadible :shock:

Unfortunately I don't have anything new to add on this topic, sorry. I would follow the advise of everyone else in the thread so far. Happy shooting.
