Photos OK to edit
.....unfortunately the subject is pretty dull....haven't got anything as interesting at the Brooklyn Bridge near me!! ;)

Just wanted to see if i'd got the general idea right???

It seems you have the right general idea, i.e.
using a tripod (I'm sure you did) and a long
exposure. The trouble is, I don't know what
this is in the photo.

I would guess that if I can't tell what your
photo is about then other people would have
the same trouble. Now. if this is just a practise
shot to see what a long exposure looks like,
then of course that's fine.

So, maybe you want to tell us why you took
the photo, what it means to you, and what
you were trying to capture. Hope I don't come
across as being mean, only want to help. Cheers.

Looks like a bus too me :p

Doogan, not mean at all! Tbh it was just a practice shot I took last night to see how it worked. I was just wondering whether I'd gotten it right (that's very subjective I know!). I think the exposure length was about right but the photo got a yellow look, I guess from the street lights.
I had to edit it to try and make it look ok.

Correct guys - it was a bus going past! Sadly, I got nothing to offer as a prize! Ha ha.

not bad! good attempt
