Hey, I'm back. Lol. I tried to do a few close up shots of flowers I found in my backyard after a rain. I used a nikon 3100. with the kit AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G DX
No crop, did a little with color.

Let me know what you think or how CC on how I completely screwed it up

ANOTHER QUESTION:
I'm going on vacation to Aruba, I go there a lot for vacation. It's an island mainly desertish with a little bit of tropical feel. I have a nikon d3100 AF-S NIKKOR DX 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G DX & AFS-NIKKOR DX 18-105mm 1:3 5-5.6G lenses.

I'm thinking about getting the 55mm-200mm zoom lens.

or a nice 50mm prime lens..

I think the prime lens would be better for the landscape photography I want. But I don't have a good zoom lens for the far things.. any hints or tips that would help me make the decision?

Like this PRIME LENS

Cant really screw up a macro of a flower, just get close and shoot. However i don't really like the angle of this because the petals closer to us are blurred, i think maybe if you took it from a slightly higher angle pointing down so you could see the middle of it more. IMO
