Gonna go with a Hasselblad H5D-200MS. Wait, no, sorry. Fanboyism kicked in there. Anyway, here's what I'd do. I'd research the lenses I want, making note of future glass and what I can grow with, then choose the body that fits A. my budget and B. allows me to use more of the glass I'd want. In my case for the last purchase (Canon 7D), the MAIN lens I wanted was available in Sony, Canon, or Nikon mount so it just came down to price.

My 1100D (t3) was a good starter camera, not too expensive, lightweight, has all the basics. Great for learning and enjoying.
