First Ice

A thin sheet of ice forms overnight atop Trillium Lake. It was fairly dangerous to access this lake with the freezing conditions. There was lots of ice on the access road. Didn't stop me from visiting 3 times over the weekend!

It was pretty cool. I was here the night before, and there were only small pieces of ice. Changed a lot overnight.

I believe it is Mt. Hood from other photographs I've seen of this lake. I was pretty turned around up in that area, had a hard time getting my directions straight.
