First newborn shoot.. C&C appreciated!

C&C per req:

1. A nice image; slightly over-exposed. You've blown the whites around the child, and I'm not sure I really like the crop. I would have prefered the image to have the whole child.

2. Again, the crop/composition doesn't really work for me. I would suggest either a square crop, or consider a landscape (horizontal) composition, again with the whole child. This sort of quasi-sepia treatment isn't something I would choose for a newborn shoot.

Overall, they're not bad. Some minor issues, and points to ponder for your next shoot.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

Thank you so much for the feedback Ill keep that in mind next time.. Ive got lots of full bodies.. I just thought Id share what Ive edited so far.. Ill post some full bodies & see what you guys think, thanks again!

#1 has some strange shadowing issues going on, were you using any reflectors? The crop is unfortunate too . I can't tell if the issues with #1 are due more to post processing or the angle you were shooting at. Lets see the pull back shots!

They do look a little over processed? Maybe...like over softened just a bit. But a great layout and ideas for positioning the baby!! Would love to see the full shots too.

Yes absolutely! first one I way over did it, Ill work on it again when I get home right now Im at work and cant upload any of the full bodies.. but I will tonight! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts
