First outing with 40D

Nope, this is the first SLR I have used, well other than my friends olympus, but I only used that for like an hour, on full automatic. Ya I used more manual focus today and I think I am really getting the hang of it, or atleast I can do it faster and more accurately. Thanks, I tried to go back and sharpen them a little since lots of people are saying they look slightly out of focus. Next time I will have use a higher F number to get some more DOF.

Oh, and I didn't photoshop these, I didn't do anything to them, they are straight off the camera, but now that I think of it they do look pretty photoshopped, Why do you think they have such an HDR look?

I personally don't think they look like HDR at all. THere isn't enough detail and they are all too dark to be HDR.
