Hello all,

I am a new member but i have already began to benefit from the knowledge here on the forum so I wanted to start off by thanking everyone here for sharing their knowledge so freely. I recently visited the Denver Zoo with some family and friends and I wanted to share the experience and also get some feedback on my first publicly shared photos on this forum. I am happy with the way most of these photos cam out, a few have a bit more noise than i would like but i kept the ISO setting fairly high on the indoor shoots to avoid a reflection from my flash on the glass. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated, after all I'm here to share and learn, so with out further delay here come the pictures.

Thanks for looking. :)

These are really cool! A little too many to make any c&c but I think they are all pretty good. The lion one and the chameleon one could use some work. The lion looks a little noisy/fuzzy, and the foreground leaves with the chameleon are a little too distracting and get in the way.

My favorite is the Bear. That shot just looks plain old EPIC!! The big fellow looks huge and dominant.
And the yellow lizard is also really cool. Love the details on his skin.
Great job on you shots. Keep it up!

I like the bear shot. The peacock shot is begging for some brightening and vibrance/saturation.

I like the bear too. Great pose! looks like it's eyeballing a school for dinner.
Some of the others seem cut off. Like the Feet on cheetah and peacock feathers. Maybe flip the camera sideways for the Ostrich (?). Im just wanting to see more of the bird. Even just the rest of the neck feathers Emphasize on the length of the neck maybe? I
No expert, just me. Enjoyable all and all. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments so far, I appreciate the advice. I took all of the pictures in both JPEG and raw so I will go in and see if I can brighten up the Peacock, the Lion and Cheetah were both originally a bit over exposed and I did my best to darken those shots but I did not think about lightening the last one. As far as the framing goes I was trying to get tight on the Cheetah and missed the bottom of the feet, next time I will know to go for a wider shot. I can’t remember the name of the other bird but it had a very thick neck and was mentioned to be the heaviest flying bird that is known.

Wider shot of the other bird.
