What's new

First "pro" shoot today.

Yeah look good! Just a bit hot on that shot of the 3 boys, but overall they work and I'm sure they'll love them.

Yeah, I shot in i-TTL and +1 FCE, with a single shoot through umbrella camera left at 45 degrees. The shot came out a bit hot and I had a hell of a time getting any type of contrast on their faces which I found frustrating. Overall, however, I am happy with them.

Damn good fajitas by the way.

Oh-my-gosh----you appear to be in grave danger of knowing what the heck you're actually doing!!!!!!!

These turned out much, much better than I expected!

I'm not just a pretty face ya know?! ;)

Nicely done! How were the fajita's? lol.

The fajitas ROCKED. In addition to the fajitas, my friends converted their house into a new version of the Improv and hired a professional comedian to entertain us. We drank, had a comedian, ate fajitas and drank a LOT more, had more comedian and then, uh...we went back to drinking of course! What a terrific event!

Sounds like a good deal to me. Congrats and again, very nicely done.

Not bad at all! Just watch those chopped hands ;)

Thanks! Yep, they wanted an "upper body" type shot but I did notice that I had chopped hands 2x. Good catch!

I have to remind myself all the time, I get too focused on people's faces.

Nice job! Keep it up and you might just be doing birthdays!

In #4, you could select the family and the tree, then make the back walls and shades black. Or try to clone out the shades on both sides.

Using Photoshop? All I have is LR3, and I'm not sure how I could do that on LR3. Still learning that software.

Do you want to take a stab at it and post it here? Go for it.
