Not disagreeing with that at all. What frustrates me is that (i) my images are being put in X-mas cards and sent around to the whole neighborhood with a note that I am the one who took the photo and (ii) I spent time on images that was unnecessary, and my time would have been better spent processing the photos that they ultimately used.

I'd rather have my name associated with processed images than SOOC JPEGs.

Maybe I'm wrong. I dunno. The 2 hours I spent processing their pics could have been better spent taking pics of my own kids.

Oh yeah, definitely, I guess the best you can do is just never give them anything you don't want them using for their own benefits.

Single shoot through umbrella 45 degrees camera left and up over their heads. Single SB-700 triggered wirelessly through my D90.

Let alone hiring a comedian? You should try to upsell prints to them, maybe a canvas wrap, they hired a comedian for god's sake. :lol:

The stumps don't bother me. I think most people will know exactly what is going on and will NOT think this kid as no legs. The Steve Martin Arrow does however, especially since it is in every single shot.

Other than that, you did quite good.

So the lesson to learn here is: don't use the client's Xmas tree unless they allow you to re-decorate it :lol:
