Photos NOT OK to edit
Hey all! I used my new camera for the first time today. These are my first ever shots with a DSLR, so be nice! Actually, critique is welcomed, and I'd appreciate any advice for future shots.

For future posts in would be appreciated if you could number your images.

C&C per req:

1. Exposure is acceptable, however the point of focus is on a leaf rather than a group of berries; this would have been better zoomed in to only show a few sharply focused berries.

2. This is closer, but still zoomed out too far, and at least 1 1/2 stops over-exposed.

3. Cute, remember to make sure that the eyes are sharp (the point of focus here was clearly the fur just above his (her?) right nostril and that the area isn't cluttered with visual distractions.

4. Not bad, however, would be better executed in portrait perspective, and again, remember comments about cluttered background. Good use of selective focus to isolate the subject, but there's still too much going on around it.

5. Technically it's adequate, there doesn't seem to be a subject however.

Just my $00.02 worth - your milage may vary.
