First time posting.. C&C welcome!

Hi everyone! I'm new here and also fairly new to photography. I bought my SLR about a year and a half ago and it hasn't left my side since! I love to photograph people and especially children and babies. Here's some of my recent stuff.

What exactly is it that you want?
You've posted 5 completely different pictures; thus the comments will be diluted.
You are better off posting one and getting the responses on that one.

To get more, and less confusing feedback, it is best to limit the number of photos posted.

With that said, here is my input.

#1: Bad separation between the background and the subject.

#2: What is the subject? Your chopped up face or your camera and hands in the eye glass lens?

#3: Subjects feel to far away. Zoom in or step closer. If the original is high res you might be able to crop to fix it.

#4: You should have blurred the background a bit more. The other issue I am having is that the angle of the opposite shoreline, and the opposite angle of the net frame is awkward and distracting.

#5: You already stated what was wrong with the image.
