First time Senior Portraits..Pics inside

My sister asked if I'd be willing to try my hand at Senior Portraits, something I've really never done before or portraits in general. I think this might have been my 3rd try at it. This is also my first time strobing a subject, so let me have it. I chose some of my favorite ones, the non-cliche type photos. I also have the cliche close ups of face, etc, but I'm sharing the "different" ones.

Getting a lot of people commenting about him missing his face in the 1st image. I posted it later in thread, but no one seems to see it. I'm adding it here.

I tried to straighten it... Need to go back and do it again. With the straight lines in the shot, if it's just a little off.. It stands out bad haha

In 2 and 3, did you intend to have your strobe in the shot?

I love #4

#1 excellent but the head tilt makes him look depressed IMO. Would have him look at the camera.
#2 & 3 would have not put the strobes in the right side. Shot the strobe into the ground to kill the shadows, unless it was intended as it does look cool.

Love the pics and compositions. Great job IMO.

I did, was hoping it wouldn't be too much of a distraction. Once I put it on my computer though, loved the effect they gave.

I like these! A couple are slightly angled but easy peasy fix there imo. I am sure he's happy with the untraditional senior shots.
