First Time the Snow's Stuck

I'd put this in Just for fun but I actually want a critique

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. The subject (which I feel is the tree) is over powered by the visual weight of the bright lights. Can you walk around the tree and get the lights out of the picture?

I think there's a shot there, just needs a little work.

We don't get much snow

not much here. But that is a hard shot. You want the flakes in focus but the lights to star, or at least not blur. Not even sure if i could do that in this photo
