I was in Rome for the weekend and as a spur-of-the-moment thing, I attempted a timelapse. Bearing in mind I haven't read the bit in the manual about how to properly work the D300s' intervalometer, so had to keep restarting the sequence manually which is why I got bored at 140 shots and it's only 11 seconds long!
As a first go I'm quite pleased. There are a couple of jolts here and there and the exposure in general isn't great, but who cares, I sewed the seed for future improvement! I also don't have any decent software so I did it in iMovie which has compressed the **** out of it, so there are a few compression artefacts too.
Turn the quality up to 720p, enjoy, and comment if you wish!
