This is the first wedding I did as a main shooter, mind you it was my sister in law and I did it for free :)

Here are some from the day, they were uploaded to Flikr with my watermark so sorry if it bothers you.
My wb seems to be all over the place... Also I am aware of the censor dust. I know there are too many to critique so if you just have something to point out that I can fix let me know :) Thanks for looking (and or tearing me apart :S)

I like your composition with the exception of that green boat (?) in #2.

I don't have much to add to the wedding side of photography, since I've never done any of it before, BUUUUUUUUUT......On #3, I would have really liked to have seen less DOF to draw the attention to the flowers. Right now, my eyes go straight to the boats in the background.

Haha thanks, yeah there was no getting around that green boat.......

go move it, lol.

1 is perfect!

dont like how much you overexposed 5. i would have liked to see it in color.

Thanks :)

I couldn't move it, it was actually a movie set that we were given permission to shoot at on some guys property. Well no one was there, I guess I could have moved it lol.

5 is a fail this is as much as I could save it, I had to shoot directly into the sun and it didn't quite work out for me :P. This was the shot right before I jumped in the lake, dress and all, to try and get better lighting!

I think the second one is tooooooo white and it confuse the dress with the water... Too underexposed, it has, like in photography we call, white without detail, but it seems you like the soft colours and the deep white so... It was my humble opinion.

They look nice! I'm sure you have lots of others, but I would like to see some nice close-up shots of the couple. These are nice photos but they are all wide shots.

I think #3 would've have been really cool if you would've had the couple in the background blurred. Nice work though! :)

I think the third one with the flowers would have been really nice if you had a shallower DOF (as mentioned by someone else), but have the bride on the doc further down, just OOF, so the flowers relate to being part of the wedding, but still having the flowers are the main focus. What Pentax camera do you shoot with?

#4, your horizon is crooked. Easy fix. Not a fan of the 5th one with the sun flair. Some people like that look, but not me. Out of the bunch, the first is my favorite. Nicely done all around.

Holy smokes your right about the horizon!! That is usually my biggest thing, I always check my horizons....

I shot this wedding with a K20 and a K10 :)

Thanks to everyone for the critiques!

Two words: POLARIZING FILTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some more words: Congratulations; well shot; I think if you'd referred to point one above, these would have been out of the park. Regardless, I'm sure the couple is very happy!

While I agree with Stanza on the 2nd shot, and others on the flower shot, I think these are super pretty!

Thanks everyone! :)

Tirediron I do have a polarizer, I will use it next time!
