First Wedding

I am NOT a wedding photographer! I did this as a favor (wedding gift) for my BFF. It is her daughter. They knew I had never photographed a wedding. There was also a professional wedding photographer, but she only did some detail shots and portraits of the bride and groom. Unfortunately, it rained. It did stop after the ceremony, though.

I'd say that you did a good job and your BFF is getting a great present from you. There are a few things that I see but not really bad. To me #5 could have been shot portrait and on #11 you clipped the girl on the right's fingers it looks like.

Not bad at all for the first time if you ask me.

Not bad at all! A number could are slightly off level, but that's easily corrected. The exposures and focus are good, and you captured some nice moments.

The pictures look great.

The only thing I would do is bump up the contrast and a tad bit of saturation.

That is simply my style though!

Weddings are hard work. I do not know that I will ever photograph another. For starters, I do not have the extra time. But I am glad I did this one because now I understand some of its challenges. Apparently the photo Gods wanted to give me the worse case scenario for weather and lighting, lol. It rained before and during the ceremony--which was outside, then it sprinkled afterward, and the reception was super dark, like a night club. Everyone was very nice and relaxed, though. No Bride or Groom Zillas.
