Bruce! The model from Jaws, I believe. He certainly scared the crap out of me the first time I saw him.

I never saw Finding Nemo, but a quick Google search says - yes! Both in Jaws and Finding Nemo there are Great White sharks named Bruce - and Google says Bruce from FN uses your caption. So it makes sense now.

Makes me wonder why the FN folks picked the name Bruce, though. It was just a joke on the Jaws set, and apparently he broke down quite a bit.

I suspect it was a direct reference, though not necessarily the mechanical issues. I also heard it was unreliable. Of, the days of pre-Computer Graphics.
