fisheye lens adaptor for digital rebel?

are these fisheye lens adaptors sold on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBaylSAPl.dll?Viewitem&item=7531492178&category=4687&rd=1) of any use with a digital rebel? since i have to multiply aver lens by 1.6, will i get the desired effect? will they work at all?
