Flash transmitter/receiver

Going back to your question, I almost never use TTL flash. Manual flash, as mentioned is much more predictable, much more consistant (and that's the really important aspect) and once you've spent five minutes playing, much easier. Trying to use multiplce OCF in TTL mode is a HUGE PIA!

The way you have your comma positioned, it looks like you were calling him a "hot shoe flash newb" instead of referring to yourself.

Confirming that you were not referring to him should clear up the confusion.

Gotcha lol!

HAH omg. No! I meant I was the newb! My english professor did say I was a Comma hog haha. I'm so sorry, that does make me laugh though.

Mach0.. if you are getting uptight about the "hot shoe flash newb".. Bossy was referring to herself.. not you! :) If it was something else, I missed it.. please be so kind as to let us know what is bugging you! Bossy is a PITA, but she is really OK! ;P

I saw it and was like Wth? But it's online. I never lose sleep about stuff like it. I was more like Wth!? Slow down some. Lmfao !

Thanks!

If TTL is not a requirement, the next consideration would be if a high speed flash sync mode would be needed.

Inexpensive and eBay radio trigger kits usually do not support high speed flash sync modes like Nikon's Auto-FP or Canon's HSS, but are usually reliable enough even for paid work.
StudioHut 4 channel Wireless Radio Hot Shoe Flash Trigger Kit for Canon EOS, Nikon, Olympus & Pentax Flashes with 2 Receivers

I have used this kit many times because I can mount 2 hot shoe flash units to each receiver. That allows me to double the light, or use 2 flash units, each set to 1/2 power to shorten the flash recycle time.

Keith, by high speed flash sync you mean something faster than the basic 1/200? Is that what that means?

Yup.

Side note.... Kinda wish that pixel king hurries up. Their site says they have a Nikon compatible system but havent shown prices.
