i bought a kodak z712 and the flash doesnt work apperantly i have to buy a 8000 luithum battery? because it sucks it up so quickly and my other battries dont have enough power to set of the flash ?

That sounds like crap to me. Maybe your batteries themselves are dead? This could be the result of quick charging, or over charging amongst other things.
