FlashPoint XPLOR Strobe with R2-TII Trigger

Hi All,

I'm a newbie in this forum. If this question has been asked before, please point me to the link as I couldn't find it.

I got myself FlashPoint XPLOR Strobe with R2-TII Trigger for my Canon 5DM2 camera. I'm still learning how to used it, but I cannot figure out how to make TTL mode working.

I was able changed the trigger to TTL mode, but the strobe doesn't fire and still shows Manual mode. I cycled through the modes on the strobe, and it shows only M and Multi modes. Did I miss anything?

Yes - I have read it and I didn't see the TTL mode. While there are some Flashpoint XPLOR 600 HSS that comes with TTL, I think mine doesn't have TTL mode.

To be honest, working with that type of light, you are probably better off using manual. You will get much more consistent exposure once you get use to how it works.
