Florence from the Duomo

Took this on a recent trip to Italy. What do you guys think? If its well liked, I can post a few more.

Looks a lot like a snapshot, I suppose you have to be there to appreciate the view. As for the photograph I find the colours lacking contrast (a bit 'blah') and the crooked leaning tower somewhat amateurish. Florence is an ancient and proud city and has a more than a millennium of history to share by way of it's museums and it's architecture. This photo does not do it justice. Sorry, but that was my reaction when first seeing the photo.

Boost the contrast if you can, those red tile roofs and white walls should 'pop'. Spend some time on the sky.

This photo could use some more depth of field in my opinion the background seems to run together. It is a beautiful city I hope to visit one day!
