Foggy Fun

Warm weather and cold water made for some neat fog. Really trying to push myself to get better!

They are both pretty cool shots. The first has a great reflection in the water, and 2 has, as you said, some excellent fog. Only thing I would say is to try to get those pinks/ reds/ oranges from the sunset on those clouds next time.

Placing the horizon in the middle is not the most flattering thing you can do to your images. A little "rule of thirds" goes a long way.

Thanks for the responses! I really struggled with the crop on the first. I didn't want to lose the reflection of the mast in the water or any of the three boats. I have some slight variations of the shot that I will have to look closer at and see if I can find one without the technical issues!

it is underexposed to me and I agree with the framing and ROT.

messed around with the crop a touch and tried to pull a little more colour from the sky...
Any better?

Better, I would get rid more of the dark water until your horizon is at bottom 1/3 IMO
