this is my second time shooting my school at a nationally televised game. there's just something about seeing your name on a field pass with an espn logo on it that makes you smile anyways, here's some shots of the game.

As a side note, it's a little irritating that broadcast TV comes in and takes over. I go to games every Friday, and when our local TV station decides to broadcast the game that I'm shooting, I'm somehow less important... I've been shooting games all year long! Just because ESPN is there doesn't mean you should have to jump at there every whim, including pre-registering for a fancy press pass.

yea, I'm treated like royalty on the field. our team is one of the best teams in the state so we always have a huge press showing, radio, tv and newspapers. I have to have a press pass for every game. But the schools Athletic Director is really cool and introduces me to all of the press. I have meet a lot of great people that way, and even better references. I mean, what looks better for a college resume than a letter of recommendation from the photo editor of USA Today and ESPN anchors? Plus I'm friends with a majority of the team so I'm the only media allowed in the team box
