I just got it so I have no idea what I might run into. Looks simple enough and was not expensive.
I got it from Amazon. They have on line order but it's in the UK and my credit card didn't work.

I just know that all my friends will be young woman again. Trever has nothing on me anymore.

I realize people wanting a photo that is flattering but do women want their hair and makeup colors changed? Her eyeliner is much lighter, so is her eye color for that matter, and lips are more pale pink. I'd want to retain the color of my lipstick etc., to me it looks like the eye shadow and lipstick are totally different than what she used. I don't think I'd like to have it be changed, but maybe some women are OK with it.

I've use Portrait Pro for a LONG time and find it very handy, but you have to be careful; if left to its own devices, it will turn everyone into a plastic doll. It's a great program for neck-up work, but lacks a bit if you want to do skin-smoothing, or work on other parts of the body. For the price, it's hard to beat.

I think I agree with you. I don't particularly like the effect. I prefer the character of the original but it is cute what it can do.
Can you imagine being a woman who uses this to get a date and then they meet up. Oops!
I shall see how this goes. It is nice to have options.

I'm hoping I can back it off to make it useful. Like you say it did not cost much so I'm in.

Every aspect of it is adjustable, 'though some of the controls are not readily apparent. I let mine do it's thing in auto and then go through and adjust feature by feature - I usually back almost everything off to about 1/3 of what it was.

Yeah, it does a good job. BUT, as John said above, be careful. It often presets to "porcelain doll," and you'll need to dial it back.

I saw it advertised here (that was a while ago). The sliders I adjust backwards most are in the "Face Sculpt" controls (right at the top of the controls). I always aim for WOW! and try not to get Who's that? It does an excellent job for the price as long as you make sure YOU are in control, not the software.

I agree with John that it's pretty much useless below the chin.

I use it in conjunction with Lightroom and Photoshop. Together they're a pretty awesome combination.

P.S. I notice that you used the hair colour control and got colour spill onto the skin of her forehead. I have the same problem with that one and tend to avoid using it for that reason.

I played with it last night and am getting some more realistic results. This 1st version was pretty much the defaults with added brush work on the neck. Thanks again.
