Really like #'s 1 & 2. Something seems a little distracting in 2 however. Maybe it's the amount of sky? #'s 3 & 4 are a touch dark for me. My 2cnts.

maybe the horizon? Its splittin the photo almost directly in half
 
I really like the series. my fav is number one and the B/W. I believe had the sky in the B/W been darker and less of it, the image could be even stronger. Would have been a good candidate for a ND Split filter.

Maybe it's the star on the right hand side distracting from Venus? When there's so much flat, smooth synonymy in the sky surrounding such a small but contrasting focal point, it can tend to emphasize it even more. Perhaps the eye just can't help but be distracted to that star.
