I saw this and thought of my TPF peeps.

(Sprocket holes are courtesy of torn film that had to be removed in a dark room and put into a canister holder. Obviously some light snuck in.)
 
I stopped by for the free bacon voucher...but all I got was a look at a picture... :-(
 
The leaky sprocket holes kind of work with this subject, pattern echoes the windows in the building to the right.

Did you lunch at Lenny's?

Yeah, sprocket holes don't bother me so much and they seemed to suit this picture. We actually didn't lunch there. We'd eaten lunch already. Now I have to remember where it is so maybe we'll go next time :)

The bacon title was just a ploy to get people to open the thread. Don't tell anyone, but it's veggie bacon! :boogie:

Veggie bacon? Let me guess...that is made by taking strips of cantaloupe rind, and then drying them in the sun, then just before cooking soaking the dried rinds in olive oil for three minutes, then frying in a cast iron skillet for a few minutes prior to serving. Right???

(You KNOW you're gonna try this recipe sometime this August, probably around 2 AM-ish, after about, oh...two bottles of wine...)

Lenny's is a chain, all over NYC.
The one on 2nd Ave in the 50's has that kind of sign, maybe they all do.

Ah, that was the one. We had been walking north on 2nd Ave when I saw the sign.
