Free/cheap software to remove scratches

I could remove these via Corel but I would take a long time any less painful suggestions, ideally on a PC?

The marks on the plain background could be cloned out with FastStone in under a minute, any marks on more complicated areas might take longer. I suspect the options in Corel are probably similar, but it's been decades since I used it.

I wouldn't trust such a tool!

I'd suggest into photo restoration programs like Photoglory or online tools that do the same (something like this or similar stuff). Online editors usually have daily limits but if there is only one picture you'll be fine. If there is a bunch of them and especially some you'd like to repair all the way through or colorize, I'd suggest using a solid photo editor.

AI chatbots could do well too as long as you just want to remove a scratch. If it's a major restoration it may hallucinate details that were never there.
