I wasn't going to get in on this because I have a 50/1.8 and the 55-200 kit zoom, but this would fit in nicely between the 24/2.8 and 105/4 primes. If you still want some others, place me on the list.

Whoever this lens goes to, you and your wife should know it'll be in great hands and be put to good use. From the looks of it, this forum has a lot of stand up, kind people. This is only the cherry on the top.


In all honesty I have never seen such a good/cool group of people. And if people take a step back and really see what you guys are doing, they'll realize how grateful they should/will be. To give away something of your own (for FREE) to somebody else, like this doesn't happen everyday! I come from Detroit, where there are scammers and thieves all over the place. SO this is all coming from pure astoundment (yes thats a word, in my dictionary)!

New interest seems to have waned, so I'm going to try and wrap this up soon. Maybe as early as today.

Taking the wife to the eye doctor now for new contact lenses, and when we get back she will look over the thread and see what she thinks. Hopefully, if she sees someone she thinks should get it, we can make a final decision.
