Dealing with some softness issues that I can't diagnose so these aren't as sharp as I'd like. That said not bad for a 25+ year old lens.

if by soft you are meaning the tips of the bald eagles wings being blurry? that's fine as it conveys movement, if you want it sharper just up your shutter speed to 1/2000 +
