We were at the Hollywood Bowl last night to see a screening of the (new) West Side Story, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic playing the score on stage. While waiting for the show to begin, I was looking for all the beauty I was told I would see at that landmark. Couldn't find any, and then I saw a distant view of the sun going down on those mountains. That I could take something like this from my seat at a movie screening was a great experience for someone still learning about the delights of L.A, The image, I think, is more Hudson River School than West Coast.

Whatever the school, that's a nice image.

Very nice, love the composition.

Lovely! I think it's great to be able to look around and get a view like this from a venue. Sounds like fun anyway, with a live orchestra playing the music from this (originally) play. Very beautiful score.

Lovely image! It reminds me of a Jeff Beck concert at an outdoor pavilion in Tampa when the sun was setting. What a performance by Mother Nature & Beck that night!
